  • Health Priority: Improving access to care

About the project

This mixed methods study will be conducted in two provinces (Nova Scotia [NS], New Brunswick [NB]). It involved focus groups with breast, colorectal, and melanoma cancer survivors and interviews with their care providers (oncology, surgery, and PCP) to discuss risk-/needs-based approaches to follow-up care, and how to optimally develop and implement stratified follow-up pathways given existing local constraints.

Objectives
  1. A virtual consensus process with care providers (oncology, surgery, and PCP) to develop agreed upon patient eligibility criteria for stratification into different follow-up care pathways (Objective 2).
