Improved access to mental health and addiction services and reduction in wait times for children and youth is considered a key priority for the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness.

The UniCITY Participatory Asset Map outlines and organizes information on 31 eMental Health programs, tools, resources and services available in Nova Scotia (at the time of publication).

In this report, eMental Health refers to mental health services and information delivered or enhanced through the internet and related technologies, such as apps, video conferencing and text messaging. The types of support offered include clinical interventions and coaching, peer-led support, crisis support, and online self-help.
