MSSU launches centralized hub showcasing our projects that are improving Maritime health care through patient-oriented research

The Maritime SPOR SUPPORT Unit launched a new online tool this week that makes it easier to explore the patient-oriented research we support across the Maritimes.

This new resource features a searchable project list – a high-level view of all MSSU-supported or led projects. Visitors can browse by project title, location or the provincial health priorities each project addresses. This is a quick snapshot of the work across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island that is supporting health systems and improving patient care.

From the list, users can click through to individual project pages to explore each study in more detail. These pages feature:

  • Plain language project summaries
  • Final reports and knowledge translation products
  • Stories and outcomes
  • Other related links and materials

This centralized hub offers a transparent and engaging way for patients, researchers, policymakers, and the public to explore the impact of patient-oriented research in our region.

“This new hub reflects our commitment to making research more accessible to the communities we serve,” said Marina Hamilton, MSSU Executive Director. “We hope it will inspire collaboration, spark new ideas and show how research is making a difference across our health systems.”

Explore the searchable project list and dive into the details.
