We are seeking patient partners to participate in a co-design workshop. This half-day workshop on the second day (October 25) of the MSSU Maritime Health Research Summit will bring together patients, health system partners, and researchers to co-design strategies to support Learning Health System transformation in the Maritimes.

Background:

The MSSU is hosting the 2024 Maritime Health Research Summit: Moving the Dial on Learning Health Systems on October 24, 2024. This event brings together patients, the public, and healthcare professionals for presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities. The focus is on shaping the future of healthcare through continuous learning and improvement. We will learn about emerging research in healthcare policy, system improvement, patient and community engagement, and research co-production. This workshop is an extension of the summit on Oct. 25.

Eligibility:

  • Experience being on a research team
  • Patient or caregiver in the Maritimes

Time commitment:
This opportunity is in-person at Delta Hotel in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on Friday, October 25 between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
