Identifying Priorities for Women+ Health in the Maritime Provinces using a Priority Setting Partnership Approach

Location: Maritimes
Role description: Survey Respondent
Deadline to apply: May 20, 2026

This project is a Priority Setting Partnership (PSP) focused on identifying the most important unanswered research questions in women+ health across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. The study aims to address longstanding gaps in women+ health research by ensuring that future research priorities are grounded in the needs and experiences of those most affected.

This research is strongly patient-oriented. People with lived and living experience are actively engaged throughout the research process, including as patient partners on the research team and as participants contributing to the identification and prioritization of research questions. The study brings together patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, researchers, and policymakers to collaboratively determine the Top 10 research priorities in women+ health.

By centering the voices of women+ and those with lived experience, this project directly addresses research questions that matter most to patients and communities, with the goal of improving health outcomes, informing future research funding, and supporting more responsive and equitable health system planning in the Maritime provinces.
