About the project

The overall aim of this project is to identify and describe patient experience and outcome measures relevant to pharmacist-led primary care across the Maritimes. This was achieved through a series of steps, including interviews and focus groups with the public to develop patient-centered terminology around their experiences and outcomes identified as important. These insights informed the creation of a broader survey that will help prioritize patient experience and outcome measures, guiding the future delivery and evaluation of pharmacist-led primary care. 

Objectives
  1. Exploring the uptake and value of pharmacist primary care services for patients, including services used and enablers and barriers to accessing services;
  2. Describing experience measures that are most relevant to patients when receiving pharmacist-led primary care;
  3. Describing outcome measures that are most relevant to patients when receiving pharmacist –led primary care; and  
  4. Determining the clinical services most and least valued by patients and additional services they would like to receive from pharmacists
