PILOT Community Conversation about Health Data – April 17

Location: Maritimes
Role description: Discussion Group Member
Available positions: 2
Deadline to apply: April 10, 2025

We are looking for people to attend a virtual PILOT of the Community Conversations (public engagement) planned for the MSSU Social Licencing project. This research project will help us understand more about what people in the Maritimes think about health data use. The attached Health Data Basics report is an example of the work produced by this team so far.

Your feedback on the format, content, and agenda of the planned Community Conversations will be appreciated and will help facilitators prepare for the real thing. These four-hour sessions have been co-designed by the Social Licence Research Team, which includes five Patient/Public Partners, and will be revised based on your feedback and taken live across the Maritime provinces this spring.

This PILOT is intended for planning the research only and information collected during the discussion will not be used as data in the project.

Any resident of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI who have an interest in health data, but do not work in the health data space are welcome. No special knowledge is needed.

Compensation

Compensation will be offered according to the MSSU Appreciation Policy.
