Critical Care (ICU) Priority Setting Partnership

Location: Canada
Role description: Survey Respondent
Deadline to apply: February 22, 2025

Are you a former ICU patient, family member, caregiver or healthcare provider? Researchers need your input to prioritize critical care research in Canada.

They are asking children, young people, their families and friends, and healthcare professionals from across Canada to tell us what questions they would like research to answer about:

  1. Admission to a pediatric or adult ICU;
  2. Receiving care (e.g., medicines and treatments) in a pediatric or adult ICU;
  3. Outcomes after an ICU stay (e.g., how patients and families feel mentally, physically, and emotionally after they are discharged from a pediatric or adult ICU)

The research team will work with patients, family and clinicians to identify the Top 10 priorities for future research about about admission to, care in, and outcomes after intensive care unit stays. They are hoping to get representation from ICU/PICU patients and families in the Maritimes.

Participation in this survey is voluntary. You will not be asked to provide any identifying information. All responses will be kept anonymous. The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete.
