Mental Health Impacts of COVID-19 on Nova Scotians: An Update to the 2020 Survey Using Data from June 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a drastic impact on many areas of our lives including mental health, coping strategies and health care access. This report, Mental Health Impacts of COVID-19 on Nova Scotians: An update to the 2020 survey using data from June 2021 shows how the impacts of COVID-19 on the mental health of Nova Scotians has changed over time.

By analyzing data from successive surveys about the mental health impact of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, this study tracks changes in mental health impact of COVID-19 on Nova Scotians from 2020 to 2021. It can help to identify areas of need, and guide planning and resource allocation as we navigate our ongoing response to the pandemic and look towards recovery.
