The Maritime SPOR SUPPORT Unit (MSSU) is excited to announce MSSU Presents: Learning Health Systems in Action, a brand-new webinar series launching on November 14, 2024. Building on the success of the Keeping up with Knowledge Translation series, this new offering explores the core elements of a Learning Health System (LHS) through a Maritime lens.
Each session will focus on the LHS building blocks, including data, knowledge, practice and policy, and community. Featuring local experts and real-world examples, the series aims to empower attendees with actionable insights to enhance health system performance. Whether you’re keen to delve into administrative health data or learn about innovative approaches to generating and applying evidence in health systems, LHS in Action offers something for everyone working to improve health outcomes in our region.
Sessions will run from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. AT on a bi-monthly schedule, making it convenient for healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers alike to join the conversation.
And that’s not all—stay tuned for the launch of our second series, MSSU Presents: Patient-Oriented Research in Practice, coming in January 2025. This series will dive deeper into practical approaches to patient-oriented research, providing opportunities to address common challenges and showcase successful approaches to meaningful patient engagement throughout the research process.
