We’re excited to announce that the competition for the 2021-2022 MSSU Student Awards is now open.
The MSSU Student Awards provide funding to graduate students pursuing patient-oriented health research. To be eligible, students need to be entering or enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program in Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island, and supervised by an MSSU Associate Scientist.
Applications from students in any faculty and/or department are welcomed, not only those traditionally related to health sciences. However, the student’s research must be health-related and patient-oriented, taking into consideration patient’s interests and needs.
Awards to Master’s and PhD students provide up to $10,000 for one year.
The deadline to apply is April 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM AT, and we will announce the winners later in the Spring.
