The MSSU is committed to creating inclusive and safe spaces and implementing culturally appropriate engagement practices. We would like to ensure that all people with lived and living experience feel welcome at MSSU! As part of this commitment, we are creating a working group to co-developing a new welcome package and onboarding process for people with lived or living experience (PWLLE) new to MSSU.
Eligibility
- Have lived or living experience as partners in a research project AND/OR are a member of an equity seeking group (we are looking for a balance of both perspectives)
- Are interested in sharing their experiences and perspectives to welcome people with diverse lived and living experience (PWLLE) to MSSU projects, committees, and initiatives
- Are willing to participate in discussions and provide feedback in a respectful, collaborative way
Time Commitment
We will meet virtually for 2-4 working group meetings beginning mid-November, 2025 to the end of January 2026.
Compensation
$150 Honourarium as per the MSSU Patient/Public Partner Appreciation Policy.
